Structure of Zippers

Zippers can be divided into three major parts: the tape, the teeth (elements), and the slider body.

Various materials, sizes, and colors are available:

Tape
Zabin zipper tape is manufactured exclusively for our zippers. It is made from various materials depending on requirements and is used to attach the zipper chain to an item.

Teeth (Elements)
The teeth, also known as elements, are the parts on each side of a zipper that mesh, or engage, with each other when passed through the slider. When the left and the right side are engaged they are called chain.

Slider Body
The Slider Body joins or separates the elements when the zipper is opened or closed. Various types of sliders are available depending on use.
